Building A Water Justice Alliance

An effective water justice movement should include diverse communities impacted by unjust water allocation policies. This panel will address an emerging alliance between communitiess that lack reliable potable water, Tribal members who depend on rivers for food and cultural practices, and non-native communities that rely on rivers for fishing and recreation.

Participants will learn from talented youth activists, veteran water policy wonks, and members of the audience. This panel will focus on water law and advocacy in Oregon and California, but it will inform water justice advocacy throughout the U.S.
